What Is Biggest Allergy At the Moment?

We all know someone who battles with allergies each year, or perhaps you do personally. With the coming of a certain time each year you’re stuck reliving the same symptoms over and over again with hopes of making it through each day. Depending on the area you live in might depend on the types of allergy issues you might encounter. While a specific plant or tree might be popular in one area, it could be totally different in others. Each year studies are conducted to not only determine which areas are affected with the highest pollen rates, but what exactly is putting out those rates in those specific areas.

If you’re like many who cringe when spring time comes around, know they’re options for those who need relief. For those with mild allergies you can always turn to over the counter medications which can help elevate any discomfort that comes with having allergies. For those who suffer more severely there are prescription medications that can be taken, steroid nasal sprays and even something called nasal douching. While some may prefer to see a doctor for their allergies, there are more natural ways in which you can cope with allergies. Here is a list we came up with for those looking for alternative methods:

  • Netti kettles: These involve flushing the nasal passage ways with nothing more than some warm water and salt.
  • Consuming honey with a honey comb in it: Many have expressed relief after consuming just a few teaspoons a day.
  • Acupuncture: Honestly, we have no idea how this works, but some have said they’ve shown improvement using this method.
  • And more.
  • Use air purifiers around your home: These can help eliminate particles in the air and filter out what may already be in your home floating around.
  • Keep your animals well groomed. Studies shown either purchasing a short haired animal or regularly bathing your animal will help keep the animal dander down.
  • Keep pets outside can also reduce the amount of animal dander you experience in your home.
  • Remove any mold from your home and take the steps to prevent mold from forming. Mold is not only something that can cause allergy issues but can be extremely harmful if left untreated.
