STX Entertainment is started by Robert Simonds and Bill McGlashan. The company mainly focuses to bridge the gap between the China and US film industries. The company also has been financed by the China’s Huayi Brothers. The cofounder of STX Entertainment is Bill McGlashan. He is also the managing partner of one of the leading firm’s investment firms. In his four years of works with STX Entertainment,, the company has tripled its valuation.

Hony Capital is one amongst the leading private equity firm from China. PCCW is the largest internet and cable service providers in Asia, Tencent Holdings is the leading online products and services provider from China, Liberty Global is the world’s largest distribution platform, Dominic Ng is the East West Bank Chairman and the former Chairman and the CEO of WM is Beau Wringley are the other investors of STX Entertainment.

This company has made a proclamation for partnership in  co-producing a film adaptation of the mega-hit “Zombie Brother,”. It is the top title on Tencent Pictures digital comics and animation platform.

The company would be working with Tencent Pictures and Free Association. The Tencent Pictures, is the fast-expanding film and television company.  It is China’s internet and social media giant. Channing Tatum, Reid Carolin and Peter Kiernan’s run a company named as Free Association. It is also a production company.

STXfilms will distributes the films in domestic countries whereas the Tencent Pictures has the responsibility to distribute it in China. The producers of Tencent Pictures are Edward Cheng, Howard Chen, and Conor Zorn. The producers of Free Association are  Channing Tatum, Reid Carolin, Peter Kiernan and Michael Parets and Chairman Adam Fogelson and head of production Sam Brown will oversee the film for the STX Entertainment.
